This allows to modify the transparency without changing the **[[gamedev:textureproperties:transparency|transparency]]** texture property itself. Typically this is done using a [[gamedev:renderables|renderable]] for example to fade out objects no matter the complexity of their transparency values. The value is typically a single component value with the data in the range from 0 to 1. The default value for this texture property is 1. ====== Examples ====== {{ :gamedev:textureproperties:transparency.png |Transparent glass material}} Transparent glass material. Example of a fully transparent material. This glass uses 4% transparency hence 0.04 for the transparency texture property.
